METHUEN — Methuen police have arrested a 51 year old Methuen man after he allegedly fired multiple shots into homes early Saturday morning.

Just before 2 a.m., Saturday, Methuen police were dispatched to Weybossett Street at Clifton Road for a report of possible gunshots.

A neighbor told police that a man may have fired gun shots into his home and another. No injuries were reported, but police did find both houses had been struck by multiple bullets.

Police located a vehicle, matching a description given to police, and took John Pappalardo into custody, according to a press release issued Saturday by Methuen police.

Pappalardo is being held at Methuen police station on $50,000 bail and is expected to be arraigned in Lawrence District Court on Monday.
