DEDHAM, Mass. — Bones found in Dedham last week have been identified as a 22-year-old woman, according to Norfolk County District Attorney Michael Morrissey.
The woman’s remains were found last Tuesday by someone walking in a wooded area off High Street near the Brookdale Cemetery and the Dedham Public Works Department.
The remains were identified using DNA as Susan Anyanwu-Corbin, Morrissey said.
Morrissey said it appears Anyanwu-Corbin disappeared in early to mid-February 2016.
Morrissey asked that anyone who knew the woman or knows about her activities around the time of her disappearance to contact investigators.
The woman was born in Nigeria and came to the United States about 5 years ago. She lived in several locations in Boston and worked in retail, Morrissey said.
Investigators said it was too early to determine the cause or manner of death or whether foul play was involved.
